GENERAL INFO, TERMS & CONDITIONS

For the protection of you, your dog and me as your groomer....

PUNCTUALITY - As a one to one groomer, when your dog has an appointment with me, my time during that appointment is focused on your dog and your dog alone.

Being late, dropping your dog off will eat into that appointment, and I can't always add that time onto the end of the groom as I may have other clients booked in after you. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I may not be able to fully groom your dog in the time I have left, therefore,  I reserve the right to cancel the groom and rearrange. (This could be several weeks away).

Likewise, you will be given a pick up time to collect your dog. Please be punctual, as I only have a short amount of time between clients to clean the salon and prepare for the next dog.

For his own safety (as I won't be able to give him my full attention) your dog will be caged while he waits for you AFTER your pick up time. My focus will be on cleaning up and then on my next client.

Please be aware, late collection fees apply after 15 minutes at a rate of £5 per 15 minutes.

Punctuality is therefore much appreciated.

DOG'S HISTORY - If your dog has any medical conditions, skin issues, behavioural issues, has had recent surgery, teeth cleaning etc please just let me know when you drop them off. Likewise, if I notice any new lumps or bumps on your dog during his groom I will let you know when you pick up.

FLEAS - If your dog has fleas please do not bring them to their appointment. Flea eggs can survive on soft or hard surfaces. Treat your dog with a spot on treatment from the vets, and ring me asap to discuss our options. If fleas are discovered during your dogs groom, I reserve the right to send the dog home and rearrange an appropriate time to finish off. You may be charged an additional £10 as I may have to cancel my next client, and will have to deep clean and flea bomb the salon.

TOILETING - I kindly ask all customers to take their dogs for a 10-15 minute walk prior to their appointment. This is long enough for them to toilet but not so long that they're exhausted and falling asleep on the table.

Toilet breaks eat into the appointment time, as does cleaning up accidents on the floor.

PARKING - Please park on my drive, or if you prefer; across the top of it. Please do not park in front of any of the other houses, bungalows on the close.

The grass to the left of my drive as you are walking down it, belongs to my neighbours, please don't let your dogs walk on it. Thank you for your understanding on this.

CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS - Life happens and I understand that customers occasionally have to cancel/rearrange appointments.

Please inform me asap if you need to rearrange, ideally with at least 48 hrs notice, this will give me the opportunity to try and refill the slot. Last minute cancellations have a massive impact on small business, due to the loss of potential income your empty appointment loses.

If you fail to show with no notice or give less than 24 hours notice, you may be required to pay 50% of the lost price before you can rebook.

REBOOKING - I urge you to rebook your next appointment when you collect your dog. Business is busy, and I am often booked up at least 1 month in advance. I don't want people to be disappointed when I can't fit them in a short notice.

Most of my clients are on a regular 6 - 8 week schedule and book 3 or 4 appointments in advance.

Thank you so much, for your understanding in these matters! Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
